Again, a miracle is that which takes place outside of natural law, the law of nature. Jesus, when he turned water into wine, that was a miracle. When Jesus calmed the stormy sea, that was a miracle. When Jesus took five loaves and two fishes to feed about five thousand men, besides women and children. That was a miracle.

Some have said that the landing of the plane was by the providence of God. Well, what does that mean?

Providence is “that preservation, care and government which God exercises over all things that He has created, in order that they may accomplish the ends for which they were created” — ISBE, p. 2476.

Therefore, providence is the means he uses to provide for his people to be forgiven and be blessed in their particular needs, so they can be faithful and enter eternal life.

Some things to consider: 1. If it was not for God creating such an order in our universe in such a way that man could rely on the natural laws it would have never happened. 2. There are order and design in our universe, and it is not by chance. Moreover, you cannot have design without a designer. Moreover, the designer of it all is God. 3. If it was not for God creating man with the ability to build and fly a plane it would not have been possible for a man to fly a plane or for that matter to land one on water. It is by reason of God that we have our very being, and we need to give him thanks always.

Therefore, we should all thank God for the order and design that exist, that he created. We should thank God that all things worked out just right that they could land that plane on the water.

If it was a miracle, that which is above and beyond natural law, then who gets all of the credit God or the pilot?

A miracle I have never seen, for all that, I have witnessed, I believe were in line with our natural laws, nature. I am looking forward to that day when I see my Lord and savior Jesus Christ return on a cloud, just like he did when he ascended up into heaven when he left here.

Golf Tips: Swing Plane Faults That You Can Fix Fast

Would you like to develop a sound, simple and reliable basic golf swing? Anyway, there is one inarguable fact that you need to know and trust about improving your basic golf swing. The fact is that you need to swing your golf club on or very close to the original swing plane if you want to really improve the way you hit the golf ball.

The original swing plane is the angle of the golf club you’re using when you address a golf ball. From driver to putter every golf club is built on an inclined plane angle because the golf ball is positioned to the side of you and in front of you.

This plane angle is slightly different with every club in your bag and so your job is to rest it on the ground as it was designed with the club face pointing directly to your target and then build your golf swing around it.

To do this effectively you need to hold onto the golf club lightly enough that the club face doesn’t aim off line. Many amateur golfers I’ve taught at my golf school over the years squeeze the grip so tightly that the club face is twisted which creates golf swing alignment errors leading to common golf shots like slices, pulls and even fat shots.

If your grip pressure is higher than five on a one to ten scale (with ten being too tight) then you are squeezing too tightly. Also when you hold onto the grip your right hand (right hand golfer) should be positioned on the side of the grip so that when you open the palm of your hand up it would point straight down the target line.

When your hand is placed under the golf grip (facing the sky), or on top of it (facing the ground), you will in all probability alter the swing plane direction as you swing back away from the ball. Remember to build your golf swing around the design of the golf club which means that your rest it on the ground and point it towards your intended target. When you swing it away there are two basic but very important stages that your golf club should travel through.

Basic Swing Plane Stage 1:

1. The golf club should swing directly away from the ball without lifting upwards abruptly or traveling inwards or outwards too quickly as it goes back. Imagine for a moment that your golf club was laying flat on a piece of cardboard on the same angle as the golf club and that the club simply traveled backwards and forwards along the card board until the club head and shaft was parallel with the ground.

Basic Swing Plane Stage 2:

2. Now, if the golf club traveled further back the club head would now be higher than your hands but would still be on or close to the piece of card board. As it travels back the grip end of the golf shaft would point directly to the base of the card board where the golf club once rested.

The golf shaft angle is maintained as it travels from the start of the back-swing to the top and into the down swing and follow-through phases.

The best way to learn to do this is to practice with a pitching wedge and swing it back until your left arm and golf club form an angle that would represent the letter ‘L.’ In this position your left arm would be horizontal and the golf shaft vertical-although it would point towards the target line.

When you swing into the follow-through you again form a horizontal arm position only this time it’s with your right arm, and the golf shaft would again be vertical and pointing down towards the target line.

I call this golf stroke the ‘Level 1′ basic golf swing as it’s the first stage of the full golf swing. Just like a house needs a strong and sound foundation to be built upon, your golf swing needs a strong and sound foundation to swing upon. By practicing the level one golf swing you are building the type of support your golf swing needs to control the distance and direction of the golf ball easily.

Remember that it’s easy to just swing away without really thinking much about what you’re doing. But consider that the golf clubs only real purpose is to achieve a sound impact and you will realize the importance of swinging your golf club on its correct plane angle.

Even if you can’t make it out to a driving range or practice fairway, practice the level one swing often and you’ll notice a considerable difference in your shot-making consistency within three months.

Every sound golf swing has a level one position built into it and so can yours so start practicing your golf swing on a daily basis and in the hours, days and months ahead you’ll discover the power and purpose of the on-plane basic golf swing.

The first question most people ask when introduced to the golf swing plane is “what is it?” Well, before we get into the mechanics let me just say that if understood and the techniques I mention below are applied, the swing plane will help improve a golfers game no end!

Imagine that your swing is a pendulum. Ideally, you want your club head to follow the arc of a pendulum when you take your club back, through your downswing, on impact, and on your follow through. That is your swing plane. If it’s offline to the left or right, you’re going to be hooking or slicing.

If you’re off your swing plane, you will be making constant adjustments during your swing – whether you know it or not. These could be subtle and not-so-subtle movements made so you hit the ball squarely. Too far outside? You will pull in your arms or straighten your stance. Too far inside? You may have to lean forward slightly to try to make contact. All of these corrections are damaging because they take focus and power away from your shot. Mastering a great swing plane is the result of mastering the proper swing fundamentals.

Firstly, you must master your stance. You should be bent forward at the hips and not hunched at the shoulders with your back flat and your knees slightly bent. Keeping your back flat will stop you swinging with your arms (big mistake) and will enable your back to act as the axis. Turning your shoulders as you take a backswing will create the torque and bringing your club down will release the torque at the waist, with your arms merely guiding the club.

Make sure you also don’t swing your hips and body backwards during your back swing – this is a very common mistake and will take the club head off-plane and most likely result in a slice. Focus on keeping your hips still and twist at your wait during your backswing. Don’t move your hips forward either as this will have the opposite effect and result in a hook.

Here’s a final tip to help you maintain your swing plane. Take two wooden sticks or broken clubs and stick them in the ground about 3 inches from each hip. Practice your shots and concentrate on not touching the sticks. If you can master this, you’re beginning to master your swing plane!

How Do They Fly?

Very similar to the full size in most cases, with 2 primary controls. That is, steering left/right, and power, from idle to full.

In the simplest models, steering is done purely by weight-shift. That is, by pulling down on the lines on one side or the other, the pilot or gondola weight is shifted to the left or right. The canopy pretty much keeps the same shape while this is happening.

Performing climbs and descents is very very simple! The wings fly at almost constant airspeed, so increasing power enough makes the model climb, while decreasing power enough causes a descent. Somewhere in between, there lies a power setting which will maintain constant height.

On more expensive models, the trailing edges of the canopy can be pulled down, one side at a time. This is rigged similarly to the brakes on a full-size paraglider.

Toys

As with most model aircraft, the bottom end of the price range will just get you a plastic toy! There’s one in particular that seems to be everywhere, and that’s the Sky Surfer RC paraglider. The gondola and wing are plastic, the motor is electric and it needs fairly calm conditions.
