Many of us love to travel and we do it for several reasons. We travel either because we want to take a vacation, or perhaps because we are going to participate on a business meeting and other planned events. Whatever our reasons for traveling, safety and security is one of the major requirements in the plan. That is why many of us think of bringing a stun gun on a plane or a ship as part of our precautionary measures. But can we really bring stun gun inside a plane or a ship?

It is not easy to travel without security or precaution. You do not know what is waiting out there in the world. Being a stranger in a strange land could mean that we may not be aware of the danger that awaits us. There may be dangerous strangers lurking around that will grab our baggage or rob us and all of our money. There are many more scenarios such us sexual assault or any form of crime that criminals are capable of doing and instead of a vacation, what is waiting for you might be a nightmare. To prevent that from happening, it is always best for you to be always ready.

But however necessary it may be to defend yourself through bringing a stun gun with you, there are certain rules which you need to follow and comply for that purpose. Do not get too excited now because you cannot just bring a stun gun anywhere you like. For example, there are laws which will prohibit you to bring a stun gun in certain buildings. As you may have been aware already, you cannot bring a stun gun inside a theatre or any place which have strict security measures. And most especially, you cannot bring a stun gun on a plane or a ship. It is strictly prohibited that you do so.

This may sound too strict but the law is doing it for the same reason you are bringing a stun gun for security. Since the alert of terrorist attacks and threats, the law has been extra careful with tolerating stuffs to bring as a part of your luggage inside a plane or ship. Somehow, terrorists can make bombs or weapons from just about anything like toothpaste, sprays, and other gadgets. Devices like the stun gun are not necessarily harmful devices. They were meant for self defense and they were not designed to kill. But still, a terrorist is very much capable of turning a device into a dangerous weapon.

And so as you can see here that there are certain laws that need to be followed when it comes to bringing a stunning device and it is important that you become aware of these rules. You want to have a secured travelling experience but you cannot bring a stun gun on a plane or a ship. What is worse than getting robbed is going to jail if you do not comply with the rules. If you really wish to carry the device with you, better express your concern with the high officials like the staff or the security group inside the ports that way they will also be aware of your concerns.

So the important thing to be done here is just to be careful and never walk alone in these areas. Do not expose all your personal belongings because if you will, you are only inviting the robbers and other criminals to attack you.

A Miracle to Land a Plane on the Hudson River

Surgery for infant twins joined at stomach… “We can separate them.” The five-month-old babies share a liver. “They are miracle babies.”

A baseball player breaks Hank Aaron’s all time record, “it’s nothing more than a miracle.”

“Johnny is autistic. When he was 4 years old, he ran around the house babbling meaningless sounds. Now Johnny is 24 and has a university degree and a professional career. It’s a miracle.” Is it a miracle?

A flock of geese takes out the engines on a plane, and it glides and lands on the water. Now what constitute that as a miracle?

Can a glider pilot land a plane on water gliding without engines working? Yes!

Can a plane full of fuel and passengers land on water and float? Yes!

Can passages stand on the wings of a plane, and it holds them? Yes!

Can a plane lose all of it’s engines and land on water and no one die? Yes!

Can everyone on a plane that land on frigid waters exit the plane without disorder? Yes!

Will floating devices on a plane that lands on frigid waters work? Yes!

A black man can speak without any grammatical error and move large crowds emotionally. Is it a miracle that a black man can do that?

Where is the miracle in all of this? I made it across I-95 in rush hour traffic, is that a miracle? If the plane stopped in mid air inches above the water, then that would have constituted a miracle. There was nothing supernatural about this incident with the plane landing in the Hudson River. There was nothing outside the law of nature that took place.

These individuals prepare, they train for these types of incidences. Therefore, why when everything goes as we hope it does, do we say it is a miracle? Again, a miracle is that which takes place outside of natural law, the law of nature. Jesus, when he turned water into wine, that was a miracle. When Jesus calmed the stormy sea, that was a miracle. When Jesus took five loaves and two fishes to feed about five thousand men, besides women and children. That was a miracle.

Some have said that the landing of the plane was by the providence of God. Well, what does that mean?

Providence is “that preservation, care and government which God exercises over all things that He has created, in order that they may accomplish the ends for which they were created” — ISBE, p. 2476.

Therefore, providence is the means he uses to provide for his people to be forgiven and be blessed in their particular needs, so they can be faithful and enter eternal life.

Some things to consider: 1. If it was not for God creating such an order in our universe in such a way that man could rely on the natural laws it would have never happened. 2. There are order and design in our universe, and it is not by chance. Moreover, you cannot have design without a designer. Moreover, the designer of it all is God. 3. If it was not for God creating man with the ability to build and fly a plane it would not have been possible for a man to fly a plane or for that matter to land one on water. It is by reason of God that we have our very being, and we need to give him thanks always.

Therefore, we should all thank God for the order and design that exist, that he created. We should thank God that all things worked out just right that they could land that plane on the water.

If it was a miracle, that which is above and beyond natural law, then who gets all of the credit God or the pilot?

A miracle I have never seen, for all that, I have witnessed, I believe were in line with our natural laws, nature. I am looking forward to that day when I see my Lord and savior Jesus Christ return on a cloud, just like he did when he ascended up into heaven when he left here.

Ever felt the urge to carry a GPS unit on a plane? Would a GPS work inside the plane? What would it be like truing it thousands of feet in the air? A GPS is considered pretty safe for use inside a plane. You will find that some airliners allow their usage but it’s better to check their terms and conditions. You will even have to check whether the it’s allowed on the flight you are boarding. In case of doubt always ask and be informed to avoid confrontation with the law. Make sure you follow the instructions laid by the airlines, no matter how strongly you believe that it’s safe to use a GPS on the flight.

You have to get a clear signal from the satellites if you happen to carry one such device on n allowed flight. Window seats are the best option in this case. Hand held or in car GPS devices are not build to be as accurate as the navigation system of an airplane. The personal GPS unit could lack accuracy or fail to provide your location or speed during the flight.

As mobile phones are generally not allowed on most airlines, you will be out of luck if you want to use your mobile GPS feature. Turn off any voice commands specially if you have downloaded and installed any alternative funny GPS voices to avoid keeping you co-passengers from giggling.
